Asopius (d.428 BC)
Asopius (d.428 BC) was the son of the successful Athenian commander Phormio, but had a much less successful military career himself, being killed during his first known command.

Phormio son of Asopius (c.470-429/428 BC) was a successful Athenian admiral in the early stages of the Great Peloponnesian War, best known for his two naval victories won in the Gulf of Corinth in 429 BC.

Glaramara from Seatoller
After a longer gap than expected our second walk for 2011 at Storm-crow takes us up Glaramara from Seatoller in the Borrowdale Valley.
Tarn Hows from the West
We return after an unplanned gap with a short walk to Tarn Hows from the west.
