This is one of the classic Lake District ridge walks. Starting with the
famous frontal route up Red Pike, it continued along the High Stile Range,
which provides the towering south wall to the Buttermere Valley,
visiting three major summits before dropping down Gamlin End to Scarth
Gap

Circuit of Buttermere
The circuit of Buttermere
is one of the best low-level walks in the Lake District, and perhaps
the best circuit of any of the lakes, combining some breathtaking
mountain scenery with a comparatively short walk.
Walk up Gavel Fell
This walk takes us up one of the Lake District's less frequented fells, Gavel Fell in the heart of the Loweswater Fells.
