Walk: Southern shores of Loweswater

This week we add a walk that explores the southern shores of Loweswater, from Holme Wood to High Nook Tarn and the edge of the West Cumbrian plains

Rosedale

Rosedale is one of the largest and most impressive valleys in the North York Moors, and the only one of the central dales (Rosedale, Farndale, Bransdale and Bilsdale) to contain a sizable village, Rosedale Abbey

Mountain Hare

The Mountain Hare is the only Hare native to Britian, having been here since the last Ice Age.
